
Originating in the southern part of the Tanggula Mountains, Tibet Autonomous Region, the Nujiang River flows into Yunnan at Gongshan County. From north to south between Mount Nushan and Mount Gaoligong, its 28 I 6-kilometer-long main stream goes through Fugong, Bijiang, Lushui. Baoshan. Shidian, Longling. Yongcle and Zhenkang counties. The Nujiang Rivcr tlows out of China to Burma (where it is called Lhe Salwcen River) at Luxi County.
