The Indian Python is China's largest nonpoisonous snake. Its body is 6-7 meters long and there is a clear dividing line between its head and neck. The Indian Python is a primitive snake. Living in tropical and subtropical forests, it is good at climbing and also able to live in water. Being a nocturnal animal, it searches for vertebrates as its food. Sometimes, it is able to swallow calves weighing dozens of kilograms. When catching food, they entangle their prey until they are suffocated to death.
