Distribution: China's Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan provinces

Blue-eared Pheasants are 95cm long and they are specific of China. Their dwelling places are in cold area high altitude and most live in valleys with rivers or ,wide and sparse bushes, pine and oak forests. They are gregarious pheasants and live in pairs only during breeding night, they perch on trees together.
They receive second grade national protection.
