Distribution: Tibetan Plateau The body length of the Tibetan Antelopes is 130-140cm, with a 10cm tail. Weighing 25-50kg, they dwell in mountainous deserts and prairies at an altitude of 4,000-5,500 meters. Grass and lichen are their staple food. They are gregarious animals and move in large groups. Native to China, they enjoy first grade national protection.
