
The body length of the Snow Leopard is 110-130cm, with a 80-90cm tail. They weigh 38-75kg. They dwell in rocky areas of mountains at an altitude of 2,700-6,000 meters. They are solitary animals and often hunt for blue sheep, argali, deer, boars, marmots, mice and rabbits in the daytime. The normal lifespan is about 20 years.
Tey are listed as first grade nationally protected animals.
