Distribution: border areas of China's Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces, Japan, Korea and Vietnam The body length of the Sika Deer is 150-170cm, with a 13-18cm tail; weight ranges from 40-150kg. They gregariously dwell in the mountainous grasslands and forest margins. They feed on green grass and leaves and often lick saline soil. The normal lifespan is 20 years. They receive first grade national protection.
