
The body length of the Siberian Tiger is 140-28(cm.) with a 60-90cm tail. The males weigh 180-306kg and females 100-167kg. They are the largest species of the, cat family. They live alone in forests, jungles and dense, wild grass. They are nocturnal animals and excel in swimming. Big mammals are their usual prey. The normal lifespan varies from 20 to 25 years.
They are listed as first grade nationally protected animals.
