Tibetan Antelope

Distribution: Tibetan Plateau

Tibetan Antelope



The body length of the Tibetan Antelopes is 130-140cm, with a 10cm tail. Weighing 25-50kg, they dwell in mountainous deserts and prairies at an altitude of 4,000-5,500 meters. Grass and lichen are their staple food. They are gregarious animals and move in large groups.



Native to China, they enjoy first grade national protection.

Goitered Gazelle

Distribution: northern China, Palestine and Arabian Peninsula.

Goitered Gazelle



The body length of the Goitered Gazelle is 88-109cm, with a 12-18cm tail. Weighing 29-42kg, they live gregariously in the hills and deserts. They are good at running and leaping. They can also endure cold. Leaves, tender twigs and grass are their staple food. The normal lifespan is about 17 years. The male becomes goiterous during the estrus and thus the animal gets its name.



They receive second grade national protection.
